Fall 2023 - Two Exciting Classes for Basic Skills Skaters !

1) ADVANCED SKATING SKILLS with COACH JOHN

Who: All skaters Basic 3 and above. Must be members of U.S. Figure Skating (USFS) or Learn to Skate USA (LTSUSA).

When: Tuesdays, 5:30 - 6:00 PM, seven weeks beginning September 19, 2023.

Where: M&T Bank Arena, Quinnipiac York Hill campus

Class Description:

Small group class utilizing the whole ice surface. Develop skating skills of edge quality, stride length, extension, acceleration, speed, power and flow. Learn and practice skating patterns and drills suitable for all types of skaters (freestyle, hockey, speed skating).

Class Size: No more than 10 skaters.

Cost: $175 for 7 weeks of classes.

2) ICE DANCE WITH COACH LIZZIE

Who: All skaters Basic 3 and above. Must be members of U.S. Figure Skating (USFS) or Learn to Skate USA (LTSUSA).

When: Sundays, 12:15 - 12:45 PM, five weeks beginning October 1, 2023.

Where: M&T Bank Arena, Quinnipiac York Hill campus

Class Description:

A small group class that will introduce ice dance steps and rhythmic performance to a piece of music. The aim of this class will be to learn ice dance steps and patterns aligned with the Learn to Skate USA ice dance badge program.

Class Size: No more than 10 skaters.

Cost: $125 for 5 weeks of classes.
