Holiday Show 2024

We are excited to begin working on plans for our holiday show, which will be on Sunday, December 15th from 1:00 until 2:30. This has traditionally been a time for both Basic Skills and more advanced skaters to come together and show off their progress, as well as to celebrate the holiday season. Guests are welcome to come and watch!

We will use our week 13 Learn to Skate hour, plus some extra time afterwards, to accommodate everyone. Learn to Skaters have already started working on their group performance numbers.

Meanwhile, we are looking for skaters who would like to perform holiday related programs. To help cover costs, there is a $25 fee for each soloist, pair, or dance team. Those wishing to perform (or one member of each team) need to sign up on EntryEeze by Sunday, December 1: sign in to your EntryEeze account, find the Contract Ice tab, and choose Browse and Purchase. Then select “Performance in the Holiday Show 2024”, the skater’s name, and Add to Cart. Finally, go to your Cart and pay.

In addition, we ask that you (or your coach) record your choice of music on our Google form by Sunday, December 1st. Make sure to choose songs that align with the holiday theme, and please verify that no other skater has already claimed the song. Music should be sent to John Cain at johncain@blueedgefsc.org no later than December 10th.

The performance opportunity is on a first come, first serve basis for all Blue Edge FSC Members and Associate Members. Space permitting, larger group numbers are welcome for a $40 fee. Contact me or John if you are interested.
