Message From the Club President (Dec 2021)

Greetings Blue Edge Members, Families and Friends,

We are back on the ice!

Join us as we reopen our program after a long pause due to the pandemic.

The Blue Edge FSC of CT, (formerly Yale FSC) has successfully arranged to move our club programs to the beautiful York Hill Campus of Quinnipiac University in Hamden. We have been warmly welcomed to our new home rink and are excited to offer practice ice in December.

The People’s United Center opened in 2007 and features dual arenas for basketball and skating. The York Hill Campus of the university sits high above Hamden at 305 Sherman Avenue.

Blue Edge is opening with weekly Tuesday practice ice sessions. Planning is currently underway to expand practice ice to Sundays and to offer our high-quality Learn to Skate program this winter.

Here are the details:

Dates: Tuesdays, December 14, December 21, December 28 and January 4

Time: 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM

Price: $25 per each one-hour session for all skaters

Registration: Required prior to skating through EntryEeze
