Spring Show 2023

After our long non-Winter, we are looking forward to spring and are getting ready for our “Spring Show” on Sunday, March 26th beginning at 1:00 p.m.

The theme is “Soaring into Spring”. This year-end celebration has traditionally been a time for both Basic Skills and more advanced skaters to come together and show off their progress. We will use our Learn to Skate hour, plus some extra time afterwards, to accommodate everyone. Learn to Skaters will start working on group performance numbers soon, if they haven’t already.

Meanwhile, we’re looking for skaters who would like to perform programs. If possible, music should have to do with Soaring, Flying, Birds, Planes, Spring, etc., but we know it’s late, so do the best you can. To help cover the cost of additional ice, there will be a fee of $25 for each soloist or half of a dance team or pair. If you have a larger ensemble, please contact us. Those wishing to perform need to sign up on EntryEeze: sign in to your EntryEeze account and find the Contract Ice tab and choose Browse and Purchase. Then select “Performance in Spring Show 2023”, the skater’s name, and Add to Cart. Finally, go to your Cart and pay.

The performance opportunity will be on a first come, first serve basis. Members and Associate Members may sign up now. Music should be sent to John Cain at johncain@blueedgefsc.org no later than March 20th. Space permitting, we will accept non-members beginning March 15th; preference will go to those who have used our Practice Ice.
